Stephanie Stuer, Licensed Real Estate Broker

Stephanie is far from your average real estate agent. She was practically raised in the industry, with her parents running a successful family real estate business in Richardson, Texas. As a child, she loved playing make-believe, pretending to run the business and showing houses. When the opportunity presented itself to enter the real estate world in her adult life, it was a no-brainer.

After a few years in commercial real estate, Stephanie decided to obtain her real estate license and make the transition to residential real estate in 2007. But shortly after, the US faced its worst real estate market crisis. Stephanie quickly realized that the old "business as usual" model was no longer viable.

Rather than give up, Stephanie began listening to builders and developers discuss the science of building and quickly became a student of home construction. She realized that smarter design ideas and more thoughtful processes could greatly improve the performance and functionality of a home. This led her to the concept of high-performance homes.

Stephanie also discovered that green homes were not only better for the environment, but also better for the homeowner's wallet. However, she noticed that the naked eye couldn't always distinguish a green home from a non-green one. With this in mind, Stephanie became the first real estate broker in North Texas to specialize in green and sustainable homes.

Back then, green homes were rare and often priced at a million dollars or more in Dallas. But things have changed since then, and consumers now demand better performance and features from their homes. Stephanie is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and holds the GREEN designation from the National Association of Realtors. Her expertise has even landed her appearances on popular TV shows like HGTV's "My First Place" and WFAA's "Good Morning Texas."
